hi, this is a website for doing two things: 1. recording the words/phrases that you're learning in a new language and 2. helping you to review those words. why does the world need this? well, i don't like anki and most language learning apps do not have a good review mechanism. class-based work or tutors are better at this, but do not guarantee a review structure – let alone a structure for recording all of the words/phrases you've learned (short of constantly flipping through a coursebook).
so that's where leqsika, georgian for "vocabulary" (ლექსიკა), comes in. you start by creating a language (ex. georgian) and a word source (ex. "My tutor, Irakli"). now you're all set to start adding some words and senses (and optional labels and example sentences). once you've got those all set up, click over to review and you'll start the cycle of spaced-repetition. leqsika follows wani-kani's approach, starting your first review after 4hrs. i'll provide more information later.
